Programme 13: about Music: A journey to the New World, and back to the Old.
In today’s programme, there are just two works, both in E minor and both by Czech composers of the late 19th century. The New World, by Dvorak; and then, back in the Old World, with Ma Vlast by Smetana. Both are firm concert favourites, so please join me for these full works.
