Derek (he/him) constantly has his hands full of wieners, Zyla and Brocktree (“Broccoli”), his two miniature Dachshunds. Currently living in Seattle, Derek is an Iowa native and University of Iowa grad. He works for a local Seattle tech company and, starting with Gayish Episode 290, he also keeps Mike and Kyle in line. He came out at 16, although his parents said they knew he was gay at a very young age. He is a giant nerd who spends his free time playing Dungeons and Dragons, Pokémon, and listening to NPR.
